Caitlyn Jenner’s Strained Family Relationship: House of Kardashian Revelations
Caitlyn Jenner’s familial ties have reportedly grown even more strained. During a promotional event for the House of Kardashian docuseries, she revealed information about her ex-wife, Kris Jenner.
Back in 2015, Caitlyn publicly acknowledged her identity as a transgender woman, which lead to her separation from Kris. Her memoir, The Secrets of My Life, suggests that Kris was conscious of her penchant for women’s attire—an assertion contested by Kris who asserted her shock upon learning about Caitlyn’s transition.
Post the launch of her book, her rapport with her step-children—Kourtney, Kim, Khloe, and Robert Kardashian—began to deteriorate. Kris and Caitlyn are parents to two daughters, Kendall and Kylie Jenner. The family, however, finds themselves upset with Caitlyn again.

While speaking about her relationship with Kris in a press tour for the new docuseries, Caitlyn mentioned, “I’m much closer to the Jenner side, but Kris, I don’t really have any more contact with her. It’s kind of sad because we went through a lot.”
A source revealed to TMZ that Caitlyn regretted making the comments, which have caused turmoil within the family. Even Kylie and Kendall are now siding with their mother.
The family was not too supportive of Caitlyn’s participation in the House of Kardashians project. Notwithstanding, she took part in the project and was rewarded for her contribution. The fact that she is not part of The Kardashians on Hulu led her to believe she should not be “muzzled.”
Caitlyn, having stirred the pot, now regrets speaking out about her relationship with Kris. Her airing of family secrets has caused her a great deal of remorse. However, the source also added that the Olympic gold medalist was only “speaking the truth.” So, it seems like her coming task is to smoothen the family divide.
The House Of Kardashian will be broadcasted on Sky Documentaries on October 8. Meanwhile, The Kardashians airs on Hulu on Thursdays.
