Taylor Sheridan, who must have Wrangler jeans in his closet for every day of the month, is making a grand return to the big screen with a film dubbed F.A.S.T. Unlike the version of F.A.S.T. you find on your TV screen for free with ads (usually when you’re half-watching reruns of old sitcoms), this one’s steering straight into theaters, fueled by complex, high-octane Hollywood negotiations.
The Road to Releasing F.A.S.T.
Sheridan, our cinematic cowboy extraordinaire, is teaming up with Warner Bros. after a lengthy partnership with Paramount. There was a time when Chris Pratt was supposed to saddle up for the lead role, along with a past so convoluted it could rival a soap opera plot. But somewhere between corporate buyouts and the ever-elusive quest for streaming supremacy, the film drifted into Hollywood’s Bermuda Triangle.
The Plot Thickens
Amidst all this, Sheridan’s star continued to rise faster than a caffeinated ferret. Paramount snagged him for exclusive content, and life was good. But Warner Bros. Discovery, like a hopeful gambler seeing a hot streak, made it their mission to get Sheridan behind the camera for F.A.S.T.
– The film revolves around a down-on-his-luck special forces commando.
– He gets roped into leading a shadowy mission against CIA-protected drug lords.
– Mark your calendars, because chaos hits theaters on April 23, 2027.
Who knew Hollywood was as twisted as a pretzel at a state fair? Speaking of which, why don’t pretzels ever get credit for their shape-shifting abilities?
