Are Cole Hauser and Kelly Reilly in This ‘Yellowstone’ Spin-Off?

The future of Yellowstone is still uncertain, but recent comments from Cole Hauser suggest that he and Kelly Reilly may be returning in one of Taylor Sheridan’s planned spin-offs.

Hauser, who plays Rip Wheeler on the hit Paramount+ series, hinted at his involvement beyond Yellowstone‘s final season. In an interview with Country Living, he emphasized his current focus on giving the main show a strong finish while also sharing his excitement for potential future projects with Sheridan.

“I’m so focused on finishing Yellowstone the way it needs to be finished right now — well, just the show itself,” Hauser said. “We’ll see where that leads, but I know that there’s some stuff on the horizon when it comes to Taylor’s ideas for Kelly Reilly and myself and some of the other cast. I’m excited to see where he goes creatively with that, but right now it’s just, let’s finish strong; let’s do the best we can.”

Kelly Reilly Addresses Rumors

Kelly Reilly, who plays Beth Dutton, recently addressed rumors surrounding potential salary disputes that could impact her involvement in the spin-off series. Reilly dismissed the rumors as “nonsense,” emphasizing her commitment to giving Yellowstone the strong conclusion it deserves.

“I just care about finishing [the main show] with as much care and as much passion and as much love as I can muster to put into it. That’s what I care about. I’m sort of prepping for that now [and] that’s my tunnel vision thing that I care about most,” Reilly said. “And what goes on beyond that? There are discussions, you know. Don’t believe everything you read. It’s just nonsense. But we’re gonna, you know, let’s wait and see. I don’t have an answer right now. But we’ll see.”

The Future of Yellowstone

Created by Taylor Sheridan, Yellowstone blends drama, Western, and crime elements into a compelling narrative about the Dutton family. The show’s success has already led to multiple spin-offs, including 1883 and 1923, which explore the Dutton family’s history.

With Kevin Costner leaving the series and the delays caused by last year’s strikes, Sheridan has been working on a follow-up series. Matthew McConaughey and Michelle Pfeiffer have been linked to the sequel series, but the main focus remains on concluding the primary storyline.

Yellowstone‘s final season is expected to air in November, and the series can be streamed on Paramount+. Stay tuned for further updates on Sheridan’s plans for Hauser, Reilly, and the future of the Yellowstone universe.
