The inclusion of Drax, Mantis, and Groot marks a significant progression in Fortnite’s collaboration with Marvel. The first ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ character that joined the Fortnite universe was Star-Lord in 2019, followed by Gamora in 2021.

Fortnite’s official twitter account announced the characters’ arrival with a post showcasing all three of them: a handsome destroyer, a hideous pet, and a killer tree. This addition certainly makes the game more exciting and adds a new layer of depth for Marvel fans.
