I’m Batman: Michael Keaton steals the show in new trailer for ‘The Flash’

The long-awaited DC superhero film, “The Flash,” has finally unveiled its latest trailer during the 2023 Super Bowl. The trailer is a feast for fans, introducing major characters and a crucial character revelation.

Ezra Miller, who uses they/them pronouns, takes center stage as the titular Barry Allen in his Flash costume. The trailer features a voiceover from Michael Keaton, the legendary Batman actor, who asks, “Why do you want to stay and fight to save this one?” To which Miller responds, “Because this is the one where my mom lives.”

Loosely based on “The Flashpoint Paradox” comic book series, the film explores the concept of a multiverse, a plot device that has been utilized in Marvel’s recent films like “Spider-Man: No Way Home” and “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.”

The trailer also gives fans their first full glimpse of Keaton’s return in his iconic Batsuit from the Burtonverse, accompanied by Danny Elfman’s classic Batman score. This marks Keaton’s first time donning the suit in 30 years, since his appearance in Tim Burton’s “Batman Returns” in 1992.
