Prime Video has confirmed the release date for the new crime drama series, Cross, which is based on James Patterson’s Alex Cross novels. The series is headlined by Aldis Hodge, known for his roles in “One Night in Miami…” alongside appearances in “Girlfriends,” “Leverage,” and “City on a Hill.”

All eight episodes of Cross will be available for streaming starting on November 14, exclusively on Prime Video. The series is penned and executive produced by showrunner Ben Watkins. Aldis Hodge is joined by a cast including Isaiah Mustafa, Juanita Jennings, Alona Tal, Samantha Walkes, Caleb Elijah, Melody Hurd, Jennifer Wigmore, Eloise Mumford, and Ryan Eggold. Additional cast members expected for Season 2 are Wes Chatham, Matthew Lillard, and Jeanine Mason.

Cross is described as a twisted thriller featuring Alex Cross, a detective and forensic psychologist who delves into the minds of killers and victims to apprehend murderers.
