Tim Allen Reprises His Role in “The Santa Clauses” Season 2
Tim Allen is back as Scott Calvin, who you might also know as Santa Claus, in the highly-anticipated second season of Disney+’s “The Santa Clauses.” This time, Allen will be sharing the screen with Eric Stonestreet and Gabriel Iglesias, who will be portraying Magnus Antas/The Mad Santa and Kris Kringle, respectively. Tracy Morgan spices up the ensemble, guest-starring as none other than the Easter Bunny.
New Family Comedy “Dashing Through the Snow” to Premiere
If you’re still in need of a Santa fix, Lil Rel Howery is stepping into the iconic red suit in a new family comedy, “Dashing Through the Snow.” Directed by Tim Story, of “Ride Along” fame, the movie promises heaps of laughs with a cast that includes Ludacris, Teyonah Parris, and Oscar Nunez.
Danny Glover Plays Santa in Disney Channel Original “The Naughty Nine”
Not to be outdone by Disney+, the Disney Channel is also tossing its hat into the Santa ring with “The Naughty Nine.” In this original film, Danny Glover stars as Santa Claus and tackles the story of a young boy on the naughty list. He assembles a team of similarly listed youngsters, setting out on a daring mission to infiltrate the North Pole.
“Doctor Who” Alumni Return for 60th Anniversary Specials
For those whose holiday fantasies lean more towards time travel than tinsel, Disney+ has you covered. David Tennant and Catherine Tate are reprising their iconic roles in three “Doctor Who” 60th Anniversary Specials. Plus, Ncuti Gatwa from “Barbie” and “Sex Education” is set to take the TARDIS reins as the Fifteenth Doctor.
