Struggling to fit in at her new educational environment, Sam eschews her native Indian culture and kinfolk, trying to conform. However, her past life doesn’t let go so easily when a monster steeped in folklore, said to be a demonic spirit, attaches itself to her erstwhile confidante. With her world turned upside down, it’s a battle of acceptance of her roots that will give her the power to overcome this dark force.
