The very first sneak peek of the assiduously anticipated horror flick “When Evil Lurks” from IFC Films and Shudder is now available for public viewing, ramping up the excitement quotient amongst genre enthusiasts. The brothers Pedro (Ezequiel Rodríguez) and Jimmy (Demián Salomón) fight a demonic presence that is found festering in a nearby farmhouse, causing destruction to all the livestock within its reach. However, their ill-considered actions initiate a chain reaction, which further causes an outbreak of possessions that threatens their rural community.
In their struggle to fend off the steadily growing evil presence mutilating and ensnaring everything in its way, they seek help from a seasoned “cleaner” who happens to be the sole person capable of ending the supernatural calamity.
An original take on the possession film, this fresh masterpiece by Rugna will surely propel horror aficionados into a universe of terror and suspense.
