This October 6, prepare to step back in time with ‘Killers of the Flower Moon.’ Based on David Grann’s well-received book, the film opens a window onto 1920s Oklahoma, casting light on the chilling series of crimes that shook the oil-rich Osage Nation. Known as the ‘Reign of Terror,’ these brutalities echo with a grim resonance.
What sets this film apart is the unique melding of creative minds behind it. Helmed by veteran director Martin Scorsese, who shares screenplay credits with Eric Roth, this is the first time where Scorsese collaborates with both Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro in the same film. A stellar supporting cast including Lily Gladstone, Jesse Plemons, and others round out the ensemble.
Produced by Apple Studios in association with Imperative Entertainment, Sikelia Productions, and Appian Way, the film is backed by a strong team of producers. Notably, Scorsese, Dan Friedkin, Bradley Thomas, and Daniel Lupi lead the production, with DiCaprio among the executive producers.
‘Killers of the Flower Moon’ offers an intriguing mix of history and suspense. Highly anticipated.
