Marvel fans, the wait is almost over. During NYCC 2024, Marvel officially announced that ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ will hit Disney+ on March 4, 2025. Mark your calendars, because Matt Murdock is set to make his highly anticipated return early next year.
Vincent D’Onofrio, who portrays the iconic Kingpin, took the stage at Marvel’s NYCC panel to break the news—much to the delight of the audience, who responded with thunderous applause. Previously, Marvel Studios had teased a March premiere, but now we have the exact date for the vigilante’s return.
‘Daredevil: Born Again’ will be the second live-action series to feature the devil of Hell’s Kitchen, following the original 2015 Netflix series that ran for three seasons. Fans of the earlier show will be thrilled to hear that Charlie Cox will reprise his role as Matt Murdock/Daredevil, once again donning the red suit to fight crime in New York City.
He’s not coming back alone, either. The series will see the return of several familiar faces, including D’Onofrio as Kingpin, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Jon Bernthal as The Punisher, and Wilson Bethel as Bullseye. With such a stellar lineup, ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ is set to deliver all the gritty drama and heart-pounding action that fans have come to love.
While the general public will have to wait a little longer for the first official trailer, those in attendance at NYCC 2024 got a sneak peek at some intense footage from the series. The preview featured a tense dinner scene between Daredevil and Kingpin, The Punisher tossing Daredevil into a locker like a schoolyard bully, and our titular hero taking on what appeared to be a legion of bad guys. Oh, and an impressive collection of Daredevil masks. It’s safe to say fans are in for an action-packed treat.
With the series officially on its way, the hype is real. So, get ready to return to Hell’s Kitchen, because come March 2025, Daredevil is back in action.
