According to Variety, a Manhattan jury found the actor guilty of two misdemeanor counts. The sentencing trial for Majors is due for Feb. 6, and he faces the risk of spending up to a year behind bars. On account of his domestic abuse allegations, Disney pulled Magazine Dreams from its release schedule and fired Majors from their forthcoming titles in the MCU.

Prior to his legal troubles, Majors was soaring high professionally with promising roles in Disney/ Marvel’s Ant-Man and Wasp: Quantumania and Disney+’s series Loki, where he portrayed the villainous character, Kang the Conqueror. His future with Marvel is now in jeopardy, leading to potential reshoots and revisions in planned MCU titles. Moreover, Disney has opted to postpone its live-action Snow White remake and Pixar’s Elio.
Despite the unfolding drama, Loki director Kasra Farahani praised Majors’ work on set and expressed surprise at the developments. He lauds Majors, along with others, for being a wellspring of creative ideas and for maintaining a harmonious set atmosphere.
