New ‘Role Play’ Trailer Features Kaley Cuoco & David Oyelowo in a Spiced-up Marriage Turned Thriller

Prime Video has unveiled the official trailer of the new romantic-thriller, Role Play, directed by French filmmaker Thomas Vincent. The movie, which bypasses theaters and will premiere exclusively on Prime Video, offers a classic blend of romance, action, and suspense with a modern twist.

Role Play centers on Emma, portrayed by Kaley Cuoco, who leads a double life: a loving wife and mother living in suburban New Jersey, and a secret assassin. Her husband David, played by David Oyelowo, stumbles upon this hidden life during a role-play session to spice up their marriage. As a twist in the plot, the couple mysteriously ends up in the heart of Berlin. The movie also stars Connie Nielsen, Rudi Dharmalingam, Lucia Aliu, and Bill Nighy.

Role Play marks the latest project of director Thomas Vincent, who is known for his notable works on TV series and films like Karnaval, The Hook, The New Protocol, Mister Bob, and The New Life of Paul Sneijder. The film is brought to life on screen with a screenplay penned by Andrew Baldwin and Seth W. Owen and produced by Kaley Cuoco, Alex Heineman, & Andrew Rona. Role Play will be accessible to audiences worldwide for streaming on Prime Video from January 12, 2024.
