The new images feature Daniel Dae Kim as Fire Lord Ozai, Paul Sun-Hyung Lee as General Iroh, Ken Leung as Commander Zhao, and Elizabeth Yu as Princess Azula. Netflix also shared a fresh look at Dallas Liu, who will be portraying Prince Zuko.

What We Know So Far

This isn’t the first sneak peek Netflix has offered. Previously, the platform shared images of Aang (Gordon Cormier), Katara (Kiawentiio), Sakka (Ian Ousley), and Zuko. The live-action series doesn’t have a premiere date yet but is set to debut in 2024. The first season will consist of eight episodes and will follow Aang as he trains to become the Avatar and restore peace to a world ravaged by the Fire Nation’s war.

The Team Behind the Magic

Albert Kim serves as the showrunner and executive producer of the series. Other key players include Jabbar Raisani, Dan Lin, and Lindsey Liberatore of Rideback as executive producers. Raisani and Michael Goi are also directing, with Roseanne Liang and Jet Wilkinson contributing as directors and co-executive producers.

More Avatar Content on the Horizon

Fans of the “Avatar” universe have much to look forward to. Besides the Netflix series, creators Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko are working on an animated film under the Avatar Studios banner.
