Josh Safdie’s Marty Supreme drops first trailer and poster, sets Christmas 2025 release

A24 has released the first trailer and poster for Marty Supreme, the upcoming comedy-drama from director Josh Safdie. The film is set to hit U.S. theaters on December 25, 2025.

Safdie, known for his kinetic storytelling in films like Uncut Gems, co-wrote Marty Supreme with longtime collaborator Ronald Bronstein. The project stars Timothée Chalamet in the lead role and also features Gwyneth Paltrow, Odessa A’zion, Kevin O’Leary, Tyler Okonma, Abel Ferrara, and Fran Drescher in supporting parts. Chalamet also serves as a co-producer on the film.

The story follows Marty Mauser, a young man chasing a dream that nobody takes seriously. His journey forces him to navigate personal setbacks, eccentric encounters, and the kind of chaotic obstacles that push him to the brink in pursuit of greatness.
