Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway reunite in the first teaser for The Devil Wears Prada 2, and fashion is once again a full-contact sport. The footage, released by 20th Century Studios, gives fans their first look at the long-awaited sequel to the 2006 hit.
The teaser is brief but delicious: Miranda Priestly and Andy Sachs lock eyes in a tense elevator moment that says everything without a word. Absent from the preview are Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci, though both will return to their beloved roles as Emily and Nigel, according to 20th Century Studios.
The sequel heads back to the stylish battlegrounds of New York City and the glossy offices of Runway Magazine. Director David Frankel and writer Aline Brosh McKenna, who crafted the original, are back to sharpen the claws and the quips. The cast expands to include Kenneth Branagh, Simone Ashley, Justin Theroux, Lucy Liu, Patrick Brammall, Caleb Hearon, Helen J. Shen, Pauline Chalamet, B.J. Novak, and Conrad Ricamora.
Returning from the first film are Tracie Thoms as Lily and Tibor Feldman as Irv, ensuring the nostalgia hits just right. The Devil Wears Prada 2 is produced by Wendy Finerman and executive produced by Michael Bederman, Karen Rosenfelt, and McKenna.
The film struts into theaters on May 1, 2026. Expect drama, couture, and a thousand-yard stare that could freeze hell itself.
